Cinco de Mayo is celebrated in Mexico because of the Mexicans Army's victory against Puebla in 1862. Its an annual celebration that represents the victory Mexico's army accomplished on May 5th of 1862.Mexican Independence Day was 50 years earlier before Cinco de Mayo happened. Yes my family and I always like to celebrate Cinco de Mayo with a nice BBQ while spending quality time together.
Cinco de Mayo is also an important day to our Mexican culture because we are being able to celebrate are culture and heritage. Mostly people in Mexico love to celebrate with parades, folkloric dancing, music and food tons of it.
